The Remnant played the Anna Methodist church Youth lock-in and had an
awesome time!! It seems there are some up and coming young singers
there!! A group of young ladies shared the floor with the group to perform "I
can only imagine", "Amazing Grace", "Sanctuary", and others. We would
like to say thank you to our new family there for making us feel so
welcome. This was also the first outing for new bassist Kyle Whitley.
Philip's side project is complete. The title of the disc is "Brand New Day".
Side projects from other members of the group are being planned and we will
keep updates as they come.

Recording is underway for the new CD!!! The first track is titled
"Daydream", which is a composition written by the entire group! It
features a shared lead vocal from Steven and Bethany. A side
project from Philip is also underway. So far 8 songs have been
completed and Philip plays all the instruments.

Sukkot 2005 is underway and The Remnant will be playing at two
different gatherings, see schedule page. It is rumored that before the
release of the 2nd disc that there maybe side projects in the works!!
One may include a cooperative effort between The Remnant and The
way of the Cross Christian Center's Praise Team. Also, a rumored
acoustic live EP. We'll keep you posted!!

Wow!! Awesome celebrations for Yom Teruah. The Remnant
celebrated with Way of the Cross Christian Center and B'nai
Ephraim this year. Teachings were given at Olive Branch
Ministries for Way of the Cross, who for most was the first feast
they have celebrated!!! This teaching was by Tom Blair and was an
excellent explanation for why we are to celebrate Yahweh's Feasts.
B'nai Ephraim also had an excellent teaching on the fulfillment of
Messianic Prophecy through the Feasts, given by Mark Sides. The
Remnant played two separate sets. One Electric set for Way of the
Cross in which members of their Praise team joined in alongside in
the performance and the 2nd, an acoustic set for the B'nai Ephraim
congregation. The group now has 30 new songs and is in rehearsal
for the 2nd disc!!

The Remnant is scheduled to perform at the residence of Mark and
Rivka Sides for Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets) on Sept.5. You
should be able to obtain directions by going to www.i61m.com .
There are at least 3 congregations celebrating this Feast together so
come and join us for fellowship.

The Remnant CD is now available on Yahweh Music, and we are
extremely excited about this new partnership. The free version is
also still available and you can view the lyrics to the songs at
www.sonsofzadok.com . We are looking forward to big site changes
soon including a Press Kit page, 2005-2006 set list, Personal Bio
page so that you can get to know us a little better, and a more
detailed photo album. Shalom to our new brothers at Eitz Chaim

The group had an awesome time of worship and fellowship at
Creekwood Methodist Church during their youth rally. The
Remnant played for a total of around 2 hours, some of the songs
included, "Battle Cry", "Heart of Worship", "Because He lives", and
"Surrendering to you". The Remnant also introduced their new bass
guitarist, Sam Grimm. Philip has been playing a little music on
Saturday nights at Isaiah 61/B'nai Ephraim Ministries in
Mckinney, and some other members of the group have began to visit
regularly. Come out and fellowship, there is always dancing and
good worship.
